‘Went to a garden party to reminisce with my old friends
A chance to share old memories and play our songs again‘
So sang Tim Broadbent as he opened the festivities in Tim and Pippa’s lovely garden in Mons. The fifty or so guests responded warmly and the party was on! The weather was kind, the food delicious and the entertainment second to none.
An auction of art and promises was held alongside a raffle, which together raised around €1000. With Biba’s boutique and the candle stall, after costs, we raised in the region of €2000 for CSFPG funds. Our grateful thanks go to all who attended and participated.
In a profoundly moving moment, we were privileged to hear from one of our clients about the care and support she has received. It truly brought home how important the CSFPG family is to all of the fifty clients we are supporting.
Thanks and appreciation go to Sue Peirce for arranging the event and to all the team who helped put it together.
CSFPG is particularly gratefulto Tim Broadbent for contributing his time and skill. It was a perfect focus for the day, so much so that we’ve booked him again!
He will reappear in a concert, to be held in St. Siffret on 6 September. Full details soon.
